Investment Banking: Major new business development at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch, particularly utilities and public power, structuring and managing over $3 billion of financings with fees exceeding $6 million.
Nuclear Project Finance: Conceived and perfected state legislation to create a much lower cost method of financing large nuclear projects for investor-owned utility in New Hampshire; approved by Governor, Public Utility Commission and both houses of NH legislature.
Public Finance: Directed development of sophisticated computer program to analyze financing for completed $90 million Florida airport funded with tax-exempt bonds. Saved client $10 million in legal claims.
International and Project Finance: Adviser to US Agency for International Development (USAID) on privatization of utility systems in Republic of Georgia; to UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) on $200 million African satellite system; and to U.S. investors on $250 million coal-powered project in Vietnam.
